Directory/Website Photo Requirements

Logos and advertisements should be provided at the time you return the Registration Form, but no later than May 1 to be printed in the Show Directory. Logos and ads that are delivered after that date will not be printed in the Directory. Email digital files to mmyers@mississippi.org

Door Prize Promotion Required

Each exhibitor is required to contribute a gift to the Mississippi Market valued at a minimum of $25 wholesale ($50 Retail) price. This gift will be given away by the Mississippi Market as a door prize to buyers that place orders during the show. The gift can be a product(s) or gift basket of products that represent your wholesale line of merchandise.

Directory Listing

Provide a brief description for the Directory and the Mississippi Market web page. Maximum of 450 characters (each letter, space, and punctuation mark equals one character). Mississippi Market reserves the right to edit product descriptions for clarity, format, and length.

Sample Product Description - (224 characters) We specialize in custom handmade, hand painted and distressed picture frames and framed art.  Our frames range in size from 4 x 6 to 20 x 24 and come in a variety of styles and colors.  Wholesale prices range from $7.00 to $100.00.

Booth Details Curtains on the back and sides are 8' tall and are black in color. Corner booths have only one side curtain, or, in the case of double corner booths (end caps), no side curtains.

Supplies and Furnishings Additional booth furnishings, freight service, and electrical distribution will be available through Convention Display Service (CDS) at exhibitor's expense. CDS will mail or e-mail exhibitor kits to registered exhibitors prior to show. Exhibitors may bring their own furnishings.

Criteria In order to exhibit, companies must meet the following criteria:
  • Product is primarily made in Mississippi OR company is based in Mississippi
  • Any required licensing by regulatory agencies is issued and current
  • Method of shipping is established
  • First quality, representative samples are available for display at the Market
  • No prototypes allowed


Security And Liability Security personnel will be on duty beginning at noon on Wednesday, June 5th until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7th. The Mississippi Development Authority, Mississippi Market management, staff, host, sponsors and the Mississippi Trade Mart do not guarantee exhibitors against theft, loss or mysterious disappearance or damage of any type. All exhibitors should consult their insurance carrier for proper theft coverage, as well as liability coverage.


Exhibit Rules and Regulations
  • All rights & privileges of an exhibitor shall not be infringed upon by any other exhibitor.
  • Unethical conduct, or infraction of the rules on the part of the exhibitor or his or her representatives, will subject the exhibitor, his or her representative, or both to dismissal from the Trade Mart.
  • All structural work such as shelving, standards, display racks, signs, spotlights, etc. are subject to the approval of Market management.
  • All exhibits will remain open and staffed during Market hours. No booth will be closed or dismantled before the close of the show.
  • Canvassing or solicitation of business or conferences in the interest of business, except by exhibiting firms, is prohibited.
  • Exhibitors with noisy devices, sound-producing movies, or displays which may prove objectionable to other exhibitors must agree to regulate those devices so as to abate objections.
  • Damage of any nature to the booth structures, curtains, or property of the Trade Mart is prohibited. No nails or screws may be driven into the floor. No staples or pins may be affixed to booth curtains. Exhibitors will be held responsible for damage.
  • It is expressly understood and agreed, and the exhibitor agrees by accepting and signing the exhibitor agreement, that the exhibitor will make no claim of any kind against the show manager for any loss, damage, or destruction of goods, nor for any injury that may occur to the exhibitor or the exhibitor's employees while participating in the show, nor for any damages of any nature or character.
  • Mississippi Market management will not be responsible for failure to provide the space and show because of any reason beyond management's control, including without limitation, damage to the Trade Mart building, fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, government regulations or controls, strikes, acts of God, or acts of a public enemy.
  • Management reserves the right to publish or otherwise utilize photos taken during the show for advertising and promotional purposes.
  • Children working in booths are permissible, but infants and toddlers are not allowed.


Logo and Ad Specs
Logos and ads directly reflect your business. Artwork needs to be of first-rate quality. As Market staff does not design ads or logos, please employ a graphic artist to design your ads or logos. Ads or artwork sent in Word (.doc) format will not be used.
  • Ads and logos will be printed in black and white
  • Logos will be placed within your directory listing
  • Every effort will be made to place ads on the same page as directory listing
  • Faxed copies and poor quality prints will not be accepted
  • Ads may be provided electronically (PC based), as an ad slick, or a clean laser original
  • Electronic formats accepted are: .eps, .jpeg and .pdf
  • Mailed materials will not be returned

Submit ads in the following sizes:
1/4 page – 3.75" wide x 4.5" tall AND 4.5" wide x 3.75" tall
(Directory layout will determine which 1/4 size runs)
1/2 page – 7.5" wide x 4.5" tall
Full page – 7.5" wide x 9.5" tall

Exhibitor Policies Each exhibitor's practices and actions reflect on fellow exhibitors and the Mississippi Market as a whole. Therefore, all exhibitors must abide by the Market policies set forth here. These policies safeguard the integrity of the Mississippi Market, protect all exhibitors and guide companies that may be new to wholesaling. By signing the Exhibitor Agreement, you agree to the following:

  • All exhibitors must have printed price lists or brochures available for buyers. Literature should include product or service descriptions and prices.
  • All exhibitors should be accurate when forecasting shipping dates, selling arrangements, production abilities and their scope of services.
  • Mississippi Market is a wholesale event, and all merchandise should be priced accordingly.
  • All exhibitors must have credit applications on hand, or some method to establish accounts with new buyers.
  • All exhibitors must abide by the Sales Policy of the Mississippi Market, which prohibits sample sales and sales that are not legitimate wholesale transactions.
  • All exhibitors are required to complete sales reports immediately following the show.
  • All exhibitors are required to have minimum order guidelines.
Exhibitor Agreement

I have read and agree to abide by all rules and regulations of this agreement. I am an authorized representative of the firm contracting to exhibit in the Mississippi Market. I understand that I may not cancel this agreement after May 15, 2013. If I cancel this agreement on or before May 15, 2013, I will receive a refund of the total amount paid less $100.
